Is my puppy really a yorkie? 2 Attachment(s) Attachment 410154 Attachment 410155 Hi, this is Ela my 9 weeks old puppy. I want to know from your perspective, if she looks like a yorkie... I'm confused because her hair is growing in the back but in her face is very thin and growing sooo slow, she does have good hair in her head (is turning to gray or silver). Another thing that looks weird is her snout is long (which I could upload more pictures but I don't know how). Ps. i did see her mom who looks 100% yorkie to me, didn't get to see her dad (that's why I wouldn't be surprised if she turns out to be something different) I love her very much. I got her really young because her mom passes away during the delivery (she was fed with puppy milk (royal canin) for a few weeks, she east very well now, is healthy and loving... I'm just curious about the way she looks. |
Looks alllll CUTE yorkster to me! |
She is so very Yorkie cute! Her face will probably grow to fit her muzzle. At 9 weeks, how is she doing? So sad about her Mom. Really keep her close to you at this young age. There can be many health issues that may develop. |
Hello and welcome to YT :) Cute lil baby you have... Hard for me to say but, looks like a Yorkie baby to me |
Aw thank you so much! She's doing very well, healthy happy puppy :) |
Ela is adorable! Definitely a Yorkie to me :) |
Yes, Ela is a Yorkie. She's only 9 weeks so don't expect her to be fluffy yet. She may not be a good coat grower, but eventually she will get there. |
Looks like a cute yorkie to me! My ladybug has a longer muzzle than some yorkie I have seen. But she has papers and def 100% yorkie. |
She looks like an adorable yorkie to me! |
There's no doubt about it! She's totally a pure yorkie to me. |
I have to agree. looks like an adorable lil yorkie to me. Out of my 5 yorkies I had one with a loner muzzle, but, she was 17 lbs. so the muzzle fit the face and body size. |
Looking at your other photos... looks like a mix to me. But still adorable... |
It could be. I have seen a lot of "morkies" that look exactly like yorkies as young pups that probably change later in life. A lot of mixes can be very misconceiving. I always say never get a yorkie from anyone who has other small breeds around..... |
Looks yorkie to me! One note of caution. Yorkies tend to be prone to throat issues, and many people would caution you against the collar to help eliminate any chance of potential problems. |
2 Attachment(s) Hi! Just wanted to post a quick update on Ela's growt. She's been growing a lot and beautiful. Has a great temperament (my family and I are very lucky considering we adopted her at such young age), she's a great eater, sleeps all night, loves people and other dogs, and what's more important she's very healthy. She's 4 months... and recently started loosing her puppy teeth. Ela's doing great and she's very spoiled. Concerning her look... we are still unsure if she's really purebred but we could care less anymore. Her personality is all yorkie. Thank you all for your kind messages. Heres an updated pic of her: Attachment 410602 Attachment 410603 |
