slight shivering she was shivering in her sleep; she woke up when I moved and she stopped. Hubby got here and she's back shivering, as she got REALLY excited. should I put more nutri-cal in her? she won't eat, of course. I'm going to try boiled hamburger again. I know the blood on my arm was from her teeth pull so that's not an issue and it was a very little bit. |
Was her dental today ? if yes then just keep her warm & let her eat/drink as she wishes. It's most likely just from anaesthesia & should be gone by morning. Was she given pain meds for her tooth pull ? if not she may need some. |
I thought she was spayed today.....did they do dental also???? Shaking after surgery is normal I think. Body is under stress and maybe trying to keep her body heat up. Im not totally sure but if it persists contact her vet. Let us know please. They should have given you rx for her. |
oh, good!!! Yes, she stopped. She drank a huge amount and waddled back into the bedroom and climbed into the kennel next to me when she noticed me napping. Hubby was watching her. She only had two incisors removed, so I believe that she'll bounce back tomorrow. from the teeth, any way. I've offered frequent licks of nutri-cal. We do have medication-- to be given tomorrow when she's up. |

Could also try giving bits of carb to settle her tummy if you think that's an issue...like bread/crackers. |
