adrenal glands? Chews was scooting and having great bowel movements so I told the vet they might be full. They were. :p. Not bursting or anything but a good amount. She played off an on for about two hours and is tired a full three hours before her bed time, and veryyyyyyy cuddly- but woke up that way. I worry obviously and yeah, I can be a bit neurotic when it comes to her health, but she's pretty clockwork with her behaviors. Her sleep schedule is pretty down pat. she has never wanted to lay around at this time of night. But, there she is on my bed completely cuddled up in the down comforter. Now, she's never actually had them expressed after that bad visit, so I'm sure she doesn't remember the process. I'm hoping that she's just traumatized and exhausted from the late afternoon visit. Is any of your guys like this after these visits? Thanks! |
1 Attachment(s) Whenever Piper experiences something different in her day/night--and it needn't be traumatic--later on she'll pretty much pass out from, I think, mental exhaustion! Whether out shopping or at home supervising a repairman, little Pipe is ever on alert . Evidently expending that kind of energy takes a toll because when all is said and done, so is Piper! |
Mine do not like change in their routine. If they do they are no happy campers and make sure to let me know about it. |
okay, not good, but it's a relief that it's a normal thing. I also did deep cleaning and she wasn't happy about that, either. Her little sniffer was working a mile a minute before the vet visit. Before she went to sleep, she made certain to take the "top knot" out of my daughters hair. She hates them so much that the pony tail in her hair made her quite upset. So she was still a clown despite the tiredness. |

That's so very nice of you to say, JennaPenny! I may be a little tiny fraction of a bit biased, but I find Piper to be the cutest little thing ever in the entire universe!! In all sincerity, thank you for lovely compliment! |
