How often do you give your fur babies a bath? We spend a lot of time in the pool so, my lil boy doesn't smell but I was wondering if he needs a bath very often during pool season |
Not sure about bath but with the chemicals that's used in the pool, I'm wondering if there's a spritz or something you should use often so his coat/skin doesn't dry out? |
I give a bath once a week. I would imagine that once a week would still be okay during pool season and I imagine that he's not in full coat but I would do a nice conditioning during your once a week bath to keep the hair healthy and free of any mats and breakage. |
Once a week. Great cudly time! LOL! |
7-10 days. do you have a chlorine pool or a salt pool? |
Chlorine |
hmm maybe you should rinse him after but not bathe? I wonder if there is someone more exp then I to comment. |
My two swim in a chlorine pool and get rinsed afterwards with fresh water- by mid season Abby gets conditioner also. It is an extra step- maybe if you see dry, itchy skin you could start rinsing too. |
I don't know the proportion but a rinse out of the pool with vinegar water would certainly help the hair and skin. |
Once a week. |
Once a week. Every Sunday night. Percy first, then Zeusy. My husband bathes, and I blow dry. He bathes Percy, hands him off to me for blow drying, and we do the same for Zeusy. They are too funny. When he turns the kitchen sink on and gets "the cup" out, they know what is about to happen. They both run to me and our 15 year old son for "protection" from the bath. Then when we're finished, they both prance around and pose for pictures. I agree that it's fun to cuddle with two raspberry smelling sweeties!:) |
