Yes it is! Embrace is always very pleasant to work with. We have had them for a few years now.

I checked it out but don't see on the policy on what's covered and not .

They also covering Grooming as well

i currently have healthy paws. i mean they are pretty good and prompt on all claims, but they don't cover things you guys are mentioning D:

I thought about switching to them but since I already put in claims for certain things with Healthy Paws I was told those could be considered pre-existing with Embrace. Also I found Embrace to be more expensive. I have two dogs so it was out of my price range. If I ever get another dog in the future I will definitely look at getting Embrace instead.

Thanks for sharing. I'm looking at what would be the best plan. :) Were were looking at switching anyway since we were with Pets Best.

Just curious, have you had a problem with Pet's Best?

I have accident/injury only coverage for Mario with them, but have not had to make any claims as of yet (yipee!!).

Yes they do if you have wellness coverage! I will post one just as soon as I can. And I should add we always use Kristin and have always had outstanding service! Lily sends hugs back to her Aunt Carla. We haven't been around much. Life has been crazy around here!

I have been pleased with Embrace and all the different options they offer. I have also had experience with the customer service and they are always great.

There has been more stuff added since that list. They are covering all this with wellness:

• Exams; routine, dental-specific exams, yearly eye-specific exams
• All vaccines and vaccine titer testing
• Routine blood and fecal tests; CBC, Wellness Panel, Thyroid, Fecal, urinalysis, heartworm, Lyme, ehrlichia, anaplasma, FELV/FIV, OFA blood tests like thyroiditis screens, Royal Canin DNA tests, MDR1 DNA testing and BNP genetic testing, Von-Willebrands testing, pre-anesthetic testing of any kind including EKG, clotting profiles, sex-hormone levels
• Deworming/ anthelmenthics
• Nail trims and dremmeling, purchase of trimmers and styptic powders
• Anal gland expressions
• Microchipping including yearly/ registration fees
• Dog licensing fees
• All sterilization procedures; spay, neuter, zeuter, and all associated fees for surgery, anesthesia, laser fees (surgical or post-op therapeutic), laparoscopic, go home meds, cryptorchid fees, in heat fees, laser fees, and hospitalization
• Gastropexy, preventative
• Umbilical hernia repairs
• All flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives, capstar, holistic remedies for fleas, and environmental controls/ sprays and bombs
• OFA and Penn HIP exams and associated radiographs, including sedation/ anesthesia and other OFA testing like thyroiditis screens
• Hip screening films or other routine radiographs
• Prescription foods from Hill’s Science Diet, Purina, Wysong, iVet, or Royal Canin
• Nutritional or behavioral consults by veterinarians, where not covered by the illness policy
• Homeopathic diets dispensed and created by a veterinarian and recipe creation fees
• Puppy/ kitten/ vaccine packages paid yearly or in 2 payments to a clinic, and “vaccines for life’ programs
• Any dental exams, procedures, extractions, deciduous teeth, and all associated fees for surgery including pre-op testing, anesthesia, go home meds, dental radiographs, hospitalization
• Alternative wellness care including but not limited to routine chiropractic, reiki, acupuncture, and massage therapy and other therapies as recommended by a veterinarian as long as it is done in a clinic by a vet or clinic staff, or by a vet recommended facility
• Dewclaw removals, preventative (torn dew claws are covered by the illness/ accident insurance)
• Vaccine related treatments; Rimadyl, thuja, Benadryl, dex sp etc.
• Health certificates/ yearly licensing fees
• Routine ear cleaning
• Thundershirts
• Herbal supplements
• Glucosamine/ MSM/ Chondroitin
• Denosyl or Sam-e
• Vitamins
• Ear cleaners
• Skin wipes or sprays like Duoxo, Vetericyn, and chlorhexidine products

• Halti or pull stop collars, leashes, harnesses, life jackets (shock-type collars not covered)
