We or I am three for three pouters! Well all the pups got their walk in the morn. Then I had some errands to run - pet store - drugstore - Canadian Tire etc. So it was Magics turn to go witn me and I had a nice discussion with full disclosure that we would Not be going to dog parks or the lake but just shopping - I asked him if he wanted to go - and he said Yes! Our Yorkie tried to make a run for it to the car - but he was stopped in his tracks. So off Magic and I go. Well the problem arose at CT as it is maybe 1/4 mile from the lake - he could smell it - heck so could I. We get out of our van and he looks around no freaking Water! His whole body deflates. He trails around with me shopping as if I was torturning him! We get back to the car - he still won't look at me! We get home - Magic turns and continually turns his head away from me. The dogs at home say Hi and then deliberately I swear to you all - turn their backs on me! I am officially in the doghouse! Things have eased now - as the two at home had a late day walk and a snack - how-ever Magic is still not speaking to me:rolleyes: |
lol,bad mommy, cute story, thanks for sharing pouting pups.:) |
I LOVE this!!! Bless his little heart....you should be ASHAMED of yourself, momma....poor, unfortunate, abused little doggie, did not get his "planned in his own mind" outing, and instead, he had to drag along with momma and what SHE had planned, with absolutely NO consideration for poor Magic.....shame, SHAME on you momma....poor unfortunate little abused Magic....never gets to do anything special, never gets to go anyplace special, soooooooooo sad for him............ I personally think you OWE him a wonderful trip to anyplace he thinks he wants to go, and allow him to do what he wants to do.....!!!!!!!!!!! |
LOL LOL Judy. This wkend is a long wkend but hubby is working all wkend - nevertheless I am thinking of going to Lake Kelso with the pups. We are finally getting warmish weather now and it is a shallow lake so maybe the water temp won't be freezing. I like it there as I can park right by the water and leave the back hatch open and take the dogs one at a time to the water. Its a bit of a bear of work as all doggys must be brushed out afterwards and of course dried out.:) The car stays relatively safe as there is always one Blackie in it and nobody in their right mind would try to enter. I can lock all the other doors and only the hatch with a Blackie back there is open;) If I get there early enough I might be able to grab a picnic bench right by the water then I can tie up the dogs to the bench and we can all be out together. I will need to make some treats tonight and get their water gear together. Life jackets towels water toys etc. I have a special jacket for Razzle Zec Tek I think is its name - it is waterproof keeps pups cool in heat and warm in cool - have no idea how it works but it does work! I do have the BBQ in the car and maybe we shall do a BBQ together. Thinking of hamburgers and maybe chicken - all prepared for doggies ;) and one piece for me! And Magic that poor abused boy who has travelled at least 10,000 miles with me - gone camping and hiking to some of the most beautifull spots in Canada and the States swimming in almost all of the Great Lakes - canoeing and dock jumping is really really hard done by! Oh and btw he is nothing if not stubborn as he is STILL POUTING! |
