Toby found the MOTHERLOAD!
Toby has a serious obsession with caps. Caps to anything. Coke bottles, beer bottles, milk, hair dye, fountain soda lids, toothpaste, hair products, big or small, he loves them all and that is a fact. He will do anything and go to great lengths to get one. And when you forget about the one you took away from him, just know that he hasn't forgotten. And he usually finds a way to get it back. Tricky little bastard he is. Anyway, I asked my beautifully oblivious boyfriend to get my school bag out of my car so I could study, and he brought me back a completely different and obviously incorrect bag . Ok so it was black like the one I asked for, but that is where the similarity ends. It was a bag of disposable tattoo equipment. And I didn't think much about it. Well I came home the next day to an angry and frustrated boyfriend because he'd been chasing Toby down for an hour and picking up hundreds of ink well caps from all over the house. Toby had found them and wouldn't let Scott catch him to take them away. He would just run and shake his head and they'd fly all over the place and he'd run again. So instead of sympathizing I started laughing. I said "Scott, think of it from his point of view... He is in dog heaven right now. He just came up on the MOTHERLOAD of his favorite thing in the world! How exciting would that be??!? Whalah! Thousands of little pieces of heaven all for him!!! He's probably the happiest dog in the world right now. The cap gods have heard his prayers and shined down upon him and you just can't knock him for havin a frigging field day with them... That's funny s**t.... So Scott just laughed it off after that. I'm still finding caps everywhere. I thought I should share that.... |
