Fall down stairs My little yorkie is just 7 months old she fell down the stairs about 3 hours ago now shes acting very strangly shes eating and drinking water but instead of sleeping in her bed she is jumping around from 1 seat to the other for the past 2 hours and now she is hiding behind a curtain I dont think she has concousion and i have no out of hors vet can any1 help as i cant get her to vet until morning |
I'll leave the advice to the experts, but I'll be sending positive thoughts to you and your baby. |
You really need to be seen by a vet this evening....but since that is not possible, you need to limit her activity so she does not possibly injure herself more. Dont let her run all over the house, jumping on and off furniture....she needs to be strictly limited in her mobility so she doesnt do additional damage if there already is an injury....keep her quiet this night and get her to a vet ASAP.....unfortunately, there is absolutely nothing we can do on the computer until she can be seen by a vet. Please let us know what was said by the vet..... |
hugs hope she's ok |
I hope this baby went to the vet asap in the early morning - please update us! |
Any up date on your baby? |
I took little belle to the vet the next morning she was fine ..they cudnt explain her behaviour and just put it down to shock....but she has been fine since ...she has now taken to making friends with the neighbours cat and have been chasing each other around the garden this past few days which is scaring the life out of me ..cats can be vicious and belles soo tiny but they seem to be having son much fun ...any advice??? |
Glad she is doing better |
I'd keep a close eye on them. You dont want the cat to scratch your baby. |
Thanks tay65 they have been playing again all day today ive been watching all the time and they seem to be friends its so comical to watch...i think its just sumthing im going to have to keep an eye on ...little belle is just exhausted tonight after playing all day..shes such a friendly happy litle puppy:aimeeyork |
SO glad to hear the your little Belle is doing better! I chuckle just thinking of her and the neighbor's cat. Having said that, it would not take much for the cat to do much damage. Personally I would not let them play, but that's just imho. Fingers crossed that nothing happens, as you may not be able to forgive yourself if something does, as it would be an easily avoidable problem. Fingers crossed for you and Belle. |
