Large Yorkie Boy was I glad to read about other large Yorkies !! My guy is one year old and 13 LBS !!!! I thought I was buying a small dog !! Not so much ! I still have doubts that he is mixed with silk terrier !!! Either way , he is mine and I love him , just not what I expected ! |
1 Attachment(s) Lol, the bigger the better. ;) 13lbs is still a small dog. Jackson is my big boy, he's 19lbs or so. The big lug. I do question if he's a Silky as well sometimes - not so much because of size... purebred Silky's can be small and pruebred yorkies can be larger etc but just personality, other features, etc. I did not get him from what you may call a good breeder so no papers etc. |
I love them all 1 Attachment(s) Mickey is 9 pounds and the sweetest puppy at 21 months. Size really doesn't matter. |
I love having a bigger yorkie. I don't worry as much with them getting hurt. They are so much better to cuddle with. |
My now passed girl was 17 lbs, pure AKC yorkie. She passed away at 17 y/o I had 17 beautiful years with a mighty hunter. My adopted boy is 12 lbs. I prefer the bigger yorkie, they are not so delicate for my life style, but do adore those little 5 pounders. |

1 Attachment(s) Waffles is 14 beautiful pounds and pure bred yorkie.. |
1 Attachment(s) My Ranger is a pound rescue. He's about three and a half now and tops the scales at 15.1 pounds. Just more yorkie to love! Diana |
1 Attachment(s) My little man is 14lbs at almost 2 years... And he has enough personality for five dogs. I adore him. Congratulations on your Teapot! |
My Ally Mae is about 11 lbs and I have a smaller yorkie Buddy who is 6lbs. I can tell you that Buddy is the one that is always getting hurt just because he is smaller and hard to see at times. When he was just 4 months old he got stepped on his leg ended up getting amputated. I love both of my babies to death just as they are =) |
Magnus is 15 lbs. :D He's so much better to cuddle with than my Zoey who's only 5.5 lbs. LOL |
