Scales So I am interested in purchasing a scale for Daisy. I have done some research and there are all different types. As anyone on here purchased a scale or done some research? She is starting to eat more and more, and just want to weigh her every so often myself, instead of bringing her to the vet all the time. |
If you have an accurate scale for yourself, get on it while holding Ladybug, then get off and weigh just yourself, and subtract your weight from both your weights, and you will know what she weighs. That is how I weigh Lacy. |
I would try that but she weighs less than two pounds. She is a tiny one so I want to get a better idea on how much she weighs. When she gets bigger that way would be much easier! |
Get a postal scale!! That is accurate and you can tell exactly what the pup weighs! There are different brands/sizes of scales.....but they are very reasonably priced and very accurate.... I have two scales...one is for weighing babies from birth to about 8 weeks old....you have to put them in a small flat tupperware container on the scale when they get that large, but it works super....then as they start to get larger, you can get a scale like the vet uses.... |
I have this one from Best Buy. Works great for everything & inexpensive. Myweigh Digital Food Scale Silver KD-7000 - Best Buy Like YorkieMom said, put a shallow tupperware container on it to put her in. Works great! |
This is the scale that I have used since Max was a puppy. It is as accurate as my postal scale and matches up with the vet's scale perfectly. I think I found it on Amazon for less: Health o meter "Grow with Me" Teddy Bear Bath Scale for Babies and Toddlers, HDC100KD-01 - Walmart.com |
Thank you ALL so much!!! I can't weight to get it and update everyone on my little Daisy :) |
