Shaking.... Daisy has been on the puppy formula. I gave her wet food mixed with warm water and she did eat all of it. I only gave her little to see what she would do. As she was eating it, from her shoulders back she was shaking. As if she was trying to balance on her front paws. This does not happen when she drinks the formula or the water, but why the wet food? Makes me a tad nervous (I did post this in the wrong area.. ooppss.. getting is fixed) |
Could be simple excitement over the new food. Teddy trembles with excitement when he eats warm chicken and other yummy foods. |
I've realized that about a couple minutes after she is still shaking (very very little) you can only tell if you touch her. She has never been interested in wet food until now so I figured why not I bought it might as well try it lol |
If she is still shaking after eating, must be something else. Being cold, frightened, or in discomfort/pain will also cause shaking. Likely isn't hypoglycemia if she is eating well. |
I've experienced hypoglycemia I think. Right when she was coming out of the vaccinations (24 hours) she woke up and was shaking and was trying to hide from us. I called and they said try feeding her levels might be low and if it continues bring her in. So we fed her and she went right back to normal. The funny things is I crushed up dry food and added warm water and she ate that fine. Everything I give her is warm since she is till young (besides water) Now she's not interested in the dry food lol, i think i have myself a picky eater |
How old is she? |
MissPixi she is only 6/7 weeks old, unfortunately i do not know her exact age :( |
Hope Daisy is still doing well! |
