Natural hair color???? I get asked this all the time. Is Kaji's hair color natural, and if not, can I give them the name of his colorist? Sorry!! It's all natural. All those highlights and lowlights are all him. Anyone else get this question? |
Haha!! Lol yes from my MIL of all people!! I swear she doesn't believe me that I don't color Presley's hair...she tells me there is no way he has changed colors like that from when he was a puppy  but she believes nothing I say concerning a Yorkie...she has been a poodle owner for years and to say the struggle is real is putting it lightly! ;) |
Yup, having two blondies, and one a platinum blonde I get asked ALL the time if I bleach their hair! How inhumane would that be! I know how much it hurts to bleach your hair. No way I would ever do that! Some people seriously need some help. |
Can you even imagine just trying to bleach a Yorkie?? OMG  it would be like trying to baptize a cat! I agree it would be cruel and could burn their little skin up! |
Using vegetable dyes or powders to darken the hair is one thing, but we all know bleach burns like hell! I still can't believe people think that it could be true that they actually ask me! |
Try having your mother in law thinking you're lying about it..She is 76 and has lived a sheltered life... |
Funny! I got that question a couple times during Max's first 2 years, when he was changing a lot. I've often thought of bringing Max with me to a colorist to show them what I want on my head, the blond highlights. |

this is pretty funny! My husband jokes about it too...my little girl out of nowhere is now blonde....just like mama (although she doesnt pay a thing for it) I'm at the salon every 4 weeks to get her natural look! My husband asked me why I got her bleached so she can look like me! :p |
Wow I commend you for doing that upkeep on yourself every four weeks. I am far too lazy. I used to do all that hair dying when I was younger. Did all the crazy colors in high school before it became all popular and trendy nowadays. I would love to have a medium brown or chestnut brown, but Asian hair lightens red first, so you'd have to lighten it all the way to platinum then put the brown back in. Too much trouble and damage, and plus that sounds expensive. LOL |

1 Attachment(s) Oh yes! I get that all the time with Lexie. I can't believe people can even think someone would do that to a dog! :O She's platinum blonde with dark roots and the last few months she has sprouted auburn sections along her back (the same exact shade as my hair!). So another reason for people to ask that. |

Lap Princess - she's such a gorgeous girl :D lol I've had sort of the reverse. I've been showing pics of my yorkie all the time and newer coworkers that never had/seen a yorkie were surprised when I show Kimchi as a baby. They were like "Is that really her? She looks so different/dark!" They comment she looks like mixed with something else as a baby (like chihuahua, Pinscher, rottweiler etc.) and I had to assure them she's a full breed yorkie, they just go through major life changes early lol. |

2 Attachment(s) I found this pic on the other computer. See Uni is in the back sitting. She's actually the darkest one! Toto on the left, and MIL's Ginger is the little one in the front. They are all super light! Attachment 408876 This one is Toto and Ginger. Toto is almost 5 lbs, so Ginger is tiny compared to him and Uni. Attachment 408878 Hey this is actually a good pic for the Best Butt Contest! |
^^^ Super cute babies! |
Thanks! :D |
