No Problem, I have learn to live with my condition and have developed some defense against it. The biggest defense is to not stare in their eyes. You are safe as long as you do not look into their eyes for prolonged periods of time. So far that seems to be the only thing that works.:p |
Thank heavens, this is an actual condition. I thought I was loosing my mind. I try to not look into their eyes but they reach out their paws and pull my hand or arm towards them, saying, "look at me, look into my eyes" and the next thing I know I'm at the dog park or in Petsmart buying something. Are there any meds I should be taking? Or a therapist I need to see? |

1 Attachment(s) Sitting comfortably on couch, nothing has moved, no sound has been made, but I find myself compelled to slowly sneak a look over at sleeping Piper...BUT SHE ISN'T!!!! She has somehow willed me to look at her, and as we all know, once you look into those big baby browns, all is lost. So then I'm up and trying to figure out what my little darling wants, because she must not want for anything and should always be happy and content. And though loath to admit the aforementioned to non-yorkie friends, I know this to be true and certain. Ahhh, how lackluster my simple life musta been before being owned by a yorkie!!! |

That tops me :) |
Too funny! Hahaha... It's true, their mind controlling skills are truly amazing. |
I keep dexter's leash in a drawer. When dexter wants to go for a car ride, he has me follow him to where his leash is kept look up at me and look up at the drawer |

I think, we have established they know how to get dog treats given to them at their whims Lol |
We need to protest against what these animals are doing to us! Well after my non cuddly dog stops cuddling me of course but then he'll need to go potty and come in and get a belly rub or play tug of war then of course some treats but then I'll be ready |
