Keeping hair out of eyes for boys? Just wondering how everyone is keeping the hair out of their pups eyes, boys specifically? My pups hair is at a length I love, but I noticed it is "almost" a little long around his eyes so it will need pinned or something soon. What options do I have? Anyone use boy coloured bows? Any suggestions as far as style, brand or size? Thanks! |
One of my boys is in a puppy cut and the other one in full coat on whom I use a teensy hair claw to keep the hair out of his eyes. They do make some more boyish bows though for sure! |
I either cut it, or pup it up in a palm tree looking topknot. I use to use the tiny claw, but Kaji started to pull them out and rip some hair in the process. He started getting a bald spot. :( Rubber bands it is! For us anyway. |
There are so many adorable boy bows, and beautiful solid ones, too. I love Bowbiz bows. Susan is excellent to work with, and the bows are well made and last,a,long time. |
There are lots of cute boy themed bows. I use the small scrunchies for both my little ones top knots. I got them at Wal Mart. Very easy to put in and take out and I think a lot less hair breakage compared to the rubber bands. I usually have to fix them a couple times during the day, but mine are so used to it that they just stand there and let me fix it. |
I have a boy with full facial furnishings and we use two tiny rubber bands, one closer in the front to catch the shorter broken hairs, and another farther towards the back to keep the topknot from flopping over forward. We also use a plastic mini barrette most of the times even farther towards the eyes. We don't actually use bows. Seems too formal for everyday. The mini rubber bands you can buy a pack of like 1000 at the dollar stores. You are supposed to cut them out instead of pulling them out. Less damage. |
