| Thank you. I bought the Thundersweater from Amazon. As an FYI, the Thundersweater is actually a Thundershirt with a sweater that snaps on top of it. In a bit of desperation because we had a trip home planned, I bought his first Thundershirt at PetSmart. They are more expensive there than on Amazon or Ebay. I was skeptical since some reviewers said it didn't work for their babies; however, it has been a lifesaver for us. Like Buddybear, my baby wants to go everywhere but would start panting, paws sweating, and pacing. It was totally pitiful. We were lucky that the Thundershirt worked for us, and a bonus was that it worked for him in storms as well. He is a little on the anxious, docile, sweet side anyway. I sure hope Buddybear has good luck with it as well!
On the other issue, you people are going to think I'm crazy, but I swear Zeus gets claustrophobic in any kind of crate, bag, or carrier. He will literally be an anxious mess. He much prefers that we carry him to the vet as opposed to putting him in any kind of carrier. We only do it when it is ABSOLUTELY necessary. |
