Walking in bad weather NYC is having some pretty bad weather this week and we may get some of the weather related to the Hurricane in the Atlantic. I was wondering how you handle walking your dogs in bad weather conditions. I don't want them to have to hold it for too long. I have been trying to get them to use pee pads just for this reason but they think it is their new chew toy to tear up when I leave them alone in the kitchen. I would appreciate any ideas on how to handle the situation because with winter coming their will be days that the weather will be too bad for me to walk them safely. |
All I can recommend is maybe reusable (washable) pee pads or one member here advocates something called I believe "piddle place" (http://www.piddleplace.com/piddleplace/?) they will not tear up. We do not get really horrible weather here most the time and Mario loves to run in the rain we do get :). This is my first winter with him too, so we will see how he does. |

When I come home and see the mess they give me a look like I know what I did was wrong but you left me alone. |

I have used pee pad places and vendors all over the USA and parts of Japan!! Ryan at newpeepads.com is where I go for my pee pads for many years now...they are THE best, no irregulars, they dont leak, and unless something drastic has changed someplace, they are the best priced! Ryan is johnny on the spot with his orders, and I really do love the pads....my dogs dont tear them up....well, I have a couple of COWS that destroy the pads trying to use them as bedding....so I have the cloth pee pads for them and they actually use the cloth ones as pee pads and not a piece of cloth for a bed!!!!! Go Figure!!! I love doing business with Ryan and his company....and he is expanding and carrying more items and additional different types of pee pads. |
