Coco not herself! I am so glad to have found this forum! My 1.5 year old female yorkie (5 pounds) is the sweetest dog I have ever known! For the past two days I have noticed her being extremely restless. She is very itchy and does not stay in her regular spots for more than 30" she switches beds and jumps off suddenly as if she had a bad dream. She is eating a bit less than normal, and drinks water more frequently than normal. She has had all her shots and preventive medicines. I am worried she may have been bitten by something, but I can't find any signs. Any suggestions!:( |
Have there been any changes to her environment? Even something like new furniture? Met new doggie friends? Changes in food or new type of treats? Could be so many reasons. But I'd say the best thing is to go see the vet. I might be nothing but it's worth spending the money rather than worrying yourself wondering what might be wrong AND it could potentially stop anything serious developing. |
Coco not herself Thank you, that's just what I will do, take her to the vet! :) |
Any chance of fleas? Otherwise, I'd give her skin an inspection..making sure to check under collar, under arms, inner legs, along the back, at base of tail etc...and look for irritation. It could be allergies. |
Sounds like kidney trouble I had a dog that did that same thing, and it was the kidneys. but Im not a Vet so get an apt. right away. I hope its just something like a bug bit. Hope all goes well. |
