New to Yorkies!! 1 Attachment(s) Here's a picture of Dexter I had to use one of my daughter's bows on him haha! Hubby wasn't so thrilled :-D ..12 weeks old, 4.6 lbs, ears not up yet but just shaved them this morning and hopefully they'll be standing up soon!! Also question, breeder said he should stop growing at 16 weeks hmm idk about that. I've read storied on Google that they keep growing til 1 year maybe 2! So idk if she knows what she's talking about or maybe she just knows "her" yorkies?? |
1 Attachment(s) Another pic of him :D |
welcome to YT! There r some super knowledgeable folks on here who can help you. Congrats on your new fur baby! |
Oh what a super adorable baby boy. My dh doesn't want bows on Buddybear either. LOL. Buddybear just turned 1 on the 21st and is holding at 7lbs for several months. He was almost 4 lbs at 3.5 months when I got him. I always thought they grew until about 1 year but I'm not an expert, besides they always do what is unexpected in my experience. |
Welcome to you and your handsome pup! |
Welcome to YT, Dexter is just adorable, to my knowledge they grow for 12 months, "I think" possibly 18 months. |
Thank yall! He's something else. I've never owned a Yorkie in my life or met one until now, he was my sisters at first but she couldn't care for him anymore so I took him in ^_^ ..Any advice? Anything I should need? Lol he is so funny he runs in circles when he gets super excited! He's like a little dart ball lol but he's calm when he needs to be! ;) |
