I'm only a senior in high school lol |
Well, so far I'm the old lady here--63 physical years, but in my head I'm still 20-something, with Piper age 4yrs. However!!! Since Piper came into my life, I am truly happier, more care-free, more adventurous, more social, more energized...Isn't it remarkable what these little tiny Yorkie packages, little gifts from God...bring to our lives--just by their very existence?! Age be damned, I'm a firm believer that our Yorkies keep us vibrant and lively... "I think every family should have a dog; it is like having a perpetual baby; it is the plaything and crony of the whole house. It keeps them all young." --John Brown |
60 here--We got Snoopy almost seven years ago, back when we were "young". :p |

Let's just say I'm retired :D Cody is my adopted rescue boy, he rescued me when he was 2.5 y/o, he is now almost 4.5 y/o. He is my 5th yorkie, my first boy, my first rescue. My Dr. always tells me my blood pressure is good lol, I know it should be sky high, (Italian, hot tempered lol) Now I understand why it's always been good, it's all the yorkie loving I have had for 35 + years. |
Happily turning sixty in two weeks. :) |
58 and Bobby will be two in November -- but both of us act young for our age |
60 here, closer though to 61, and i am the proud mommy of a male and female Yorkie puppies. My little man is 9 months old and my baby girl is 7 months old. They have lightened up my world since coming into my life, making me feel happier and providing some much needed laughter and fun to my world. I love my babies and fall more in love with them everyday. I don't want to go back to my life before they came into it. |
Turning 59 in October. Lost my first yorkie - Scooby - last October, after 16 years together. In November we adopted Ranger - two year old rescue yorkie. Hopefully he'll outlive me so I never have to go through that loss again. :) Diana |
:D 58 years old 'over here'....maybe one day my brain will catch up with that....:D + our Harry's 4 years old....:) |
68 here. I guess I am the oldest so far. I had a wonderful little 4 pound baby for 10 1/2 years. I lost him June of last year. I now have Mickey, the greatest little love of my life. He is almost 10 pounds but still very small. I love him so much and laugh daily. |
I am 71 and have a 9 1/2 month old Zoey so I figure we will grow "old" together. Hoping she will live 20 years and I will have 20 more years !!! LOL PS My mother is 94 years old and going strong ! |
I have the utmost confidence in you both--at least another 20 years and then some...! Love your attitude!!! |
65 and have my very first yorkie, Spice, who is 11 mo old. |
I will be 62 in November. Dinky is 5 years old and keeps me on my feet! |

hi everyone, I am 57. I was shocked to realize I qualify as a senior! lol We have a ton of kids and animals, they all keep me young. My mind just doesn't seem to understand that I am getting older. We live a pretty adventures life in the Peruvian Andies. My baby Ruby is my first yorkie, she is 4 1/2 lbs of sweetness. She has been they easiest puppy to train, actually she trained herself I think. She will be one year old on the 3rd of Aug. She will be having her birthday in Lima because her crazy mommy is packing up the kids and little dogs and one of the horses and going to Lima for a month. I will be preparing my filly that I have breed and raised to compete in the second ever endurance race in Peru. I fully agree, age is just a number! |
