Whats a good shampo? |
dog Hi I fed my yorker blue buff and they had really soft stools . I now use wellness. Was recommended to me by my former poodle show breeder. I like wellness. Dogs like it. Shampoo I use hylyte from the vet. Enjoy your little yorkie. |
Yes you can give him a bath. If he's doing fine with the blue buffalo I would leave him on it until he's about 8 months to a year old then I would switch foods. But if you want to change food I would mix the old food with the new food for a week or more and gradually add in the new food until you're left with only the new food. I feed mine Fromm chicken a la veg. For shampoo and conditioner, I use Chris Christensen (CC) Spectrum ten. Then I use CC Silk Spirits the day I bathe them or days when their hair has flyaways and we are going somewhere. For daily brushing their coat I use Espree Aloe Hydrating Spray. |
Thanks everyone for helping me out |
I would leave him on the food the breeder had him on for a couple months and then switch to something else. Blue Buffalo has some serious quality control issues and there was speculation there ingredients came from China. I would look for a shampoo just for puppies that is tear free and won't burn there eyes because puppies wiggle a lot. Congrats on your pup. You will be wrapped around his paw shortly lol. |
I use Wellness puppy, its great, my pup eats it well, he has solid bm's and he has tons of energy and is super healthy. I tend to use the Dog Food Advisor and stick to foods in the top tier (5-star). You can always change the food as long as you do it gradually over time adding little by little to your dogs food until you switch over totally. |
