When I was looking for pet insurance, I narrowed it down to four that I was interested in and then completed each company's questionnaire for an estimate. Good luck! |
I have Embrace and have been very pleased with them. |
My vet said the majority of her patients have VPI |
I have AKC Pet Partners. I pay $560 per yr with $100 deductible. Zoey is 5 yrs old and I have had to use it twice per year so it pays for itself in returned vet bills. |
We have Embrace and it recently came in very handy for an injury. I was reimbursed 90% minus the $500 deductible. I wouldn't sign on for lifetime care of an animal without insurance. We also have their wellness plan. We pay about $35 average per dog monthly plus the wellness plan. |
I am shopping for the best Pet Insurance - called VPI - which is now Nationwide Pet Insurance and found the heredity limit of $250 and do not cover luxating patella. Shopping around also. |

I had to call Home Again for micro-chip replacement tag, after that was completed they connected me with the pet insurance that is connected with them, name is Pet First Health Care www.petfirst.com. My charge card is my pet insurance lol. I have never seen this name mentioned on YT, I asked how long they were in business, was told over 11 years, doesn't sit well with me. I briefly looked at their website. They told me what ever package I was interested in to call them back, as a Home Again member they discount the price that is listed on their web page. Has anyone used Pet First Health Care or know of anyone that has. I am leery of extended warranties, when ever I had one, what ever my problem was, it was never covered under the warranty, so I never get them for anything. I feel the same way about Pet Insurance. |
