107barney if it is a complete collapse how does he breath? I am thinking if it is not a complete collapse then it is just a narrow trachea and I would think a complete collapse would be flat. So how could he breath? |

Collapsing trachea is a dynamic condition. There are several recent chest X-rays with a completely flat trachea at the thoracic inlet. He doesn't match clinically as I said. If you truly want to know the extent of this CT issue the gold standard is en endoscopy. Many also use fluoroscopy. These give a dynamic image of the problem. My dog can't be under sedation for these diagnostics and they aren't needed because we can see it on the X-rays. |
