She is so stubborn! I have a yorkie/poodle mix and when she doesn't want to do something she lays down and refuses to move. For example, we hang out in the bedroom a lot and when I want her to go to the kitchen with me she'll lay down and just looks at me. I have to pick her up and take her. Maybe that's what she wants! Oh boyyyy! I think she's training me! |
Lol...and welcome to the world of yorkies :D! |
That is so funny , I can relate .. Oscar does not like to go to bed at night . When I say bedtime the other two dogs go in their crates but Oscar will lay down and refuse to move . I have to pick him up and put him in his bed :D |
Pretty soon, you'll be doing her bidding without even realizing it at the flick of her paw..... LOL |
She's too funny! When she sits and looks at me by her water bowl when she wants a drink makes me laugh. If I ignore her she barks at me. She lets me know what she wants! I can see her training me instead of me training her. Lol |
Tessa barks at me and starts walking towards the hallway to the bedrooms. Like its time to go to bed, while I'm still watching TV!! I tell her "Hey, that's why I'm not married, don't tell me its time for bed!!" lol :) But she'll keep doing it, eventually she gives up, sometimes I do. :( |
How funny:) I've got to admit, Sunni definitely has trained me without me knowing it...well, I kind of knew but its so hard to resist her silly antics. The water bowl is something she does too, lol. Or if a particular toy she wants is under a chair or someplace she cant reach, she starts with a wimper..which I try to ignore (there are 100's of toys around)..wimper turns to almost a cry, lol..and then she starts yelling at me. She'll jump up an bark up at me, like she's scolding me for not doing what she wants. I have really been practicing and using the word NO..and meaning it now, (90% of the time) If her puppy class saw her now they'd take the diploma back, haha. We start the next session next week..whew! |
we love our stubborn yorkies |
