last minute tips? spaying Hi. My little gal is getting spayed tomorrow. She is almost 9 months. Of course I am nervous for her. Any tips or advice? |
I totally understand your fears! But as long as you get the pre-surgical bloodwork, it should all go very well. Make sure you absolutely go home w/ pain meds and give them on time - you want to stay ahead of the pain. Also, have a pain plan -- ask the doc what you should do if the pain is not being managed for her (ie up the dose? call for different med?...?). Good luck and do keep us posted on how she does! |
Ok thanks! Yes, she had pre surgical bloodwork-they said looked perfect. |
We used a onsie on Sally, size newborn. |
Omg. That's such a perfect idea. Ty. |
Sending my good thoughts and wishes to you and your little girl. |

Thanks her spay is this am- I will ask |
I hope all goes well with your little girl's spaying. I had previously made an appointment for my little one to get spayed at the beginning of this month. After reading everyone's comments about waiting until after their adult teeth are in, I decided to hold off on it until she is older. I know how nervous you must be. I was nervous before I cancelled her appointment two days before it was supposed to be done. I will be nervous again when I finally do get it done. |

Thanks friends! The surgery went well. Plus removed ten baby teeth (she looked like jaws extra row) and microchipped. I can pick her up after 5. Scared to see her but hopefully not too much pain for her. |
