First time I noticed it was when I was preceding him into the back door leading into the Utility Room after dark and he does it most trips in from outside after dark. I usually don't turn on the light in there evenings because it's rarely too dark to see but Tibbe always lets me know where he is by bumping my leg with his cold nose - I guess just to tell me where he is or something. He also does it when he goes to the bathroom with me and bops my leg with his nose when I'm sitting down. He does it other times when I'm purposefully trying to avoid catching his eye, trying to avoid his "wanting something look" and he's not yet amped up enough to growl at me yet. His growl is so cute it always works, though, so I'd think he'd use it more often. |
