My Yorkie thinks she's a cat! Well, I just having dinner with my son and was in the kitchen cleaning up. I heard a strange noise. Well it was the same noise as when Sunni is playing with an "Empty" water bottle. I come out of the kitchen to see her on the dining room table with a half full water bottle in her mouth like a cigar, with water spilling out as she's shaking her head back and forth, lol. Ok, there are so many things wrong with this story. When did she decide she could jump on the dining room chairs to get onto the table? How could she make such an insane mess in under 5 minutes? And why does she look so pleased with herself? haha. I had paperwork from work on the table....she just missed it by inches..and thankfully, she didn't decide to play let me rip up the paper!! After all that she looks at me with those eyes and her head cocked to the side like she's saying..look ma, I can climb those chairs now too!!:rolleyes: Now we have to remember to push all the chairs all the way in. I beleive having triplets as toddlers was slightly easier then having one Sunni! |
You described scene perfectly and I can perfectly picture your perfect little girl! Too, too funny ('specially the triplet thing---believable, too!). You made me laugh out loud, thanks!! |
I learned right after I got Teek to push in the chairs at the table and to not leave food on it. I hadn't had him a few days and got up from the table and left my food on the table. I was going to come back in a few minutes and everyone else had left the table. I did come back a few minutes later and Teek was on the table eating the rest of my dinner for me. We have learned that we have to push in chairs and remove all food from the table when we are done. Now, if I have to leave the table for something I leave someone sitting at the table to guard my food. He will not get up on the table while we are in the room though, he knows better than that and has never tried it. Your story is awesome though! At least she was having fun. Poor Teek was the only thing in the kitchen the other day when this plastic tray thing I had on the fridge that holds things fell down. My daughter blamed him! It was on the top 6 inches of the fridge and there is no way Teek did it. I picked up everything that was in it, put it back up and the next day it fell again and broke into a bunch of pieces. I guess it was just old and couldn't stay up anymore. Poor Teek though, being blamed for knocking something down he couldn't possibly reach, I know he didn't do it because there was no food in it. so he would have no interest in it. |
Oh how funny, especially since no real damage was done. Your description was spot on! How totally cool that you had triplets, too. I expect you had plenty of 'those days' with triplets, but no idea you were schooling yourself for a single Yorkie! Hahaha. Thanks for sharing your story. |
Well I have a kitty that thinks she is a dog lol |
That story about Sunni was so funny! I can't believe she can jump up onto your dining room chairs and onto the table. Duncan can jump onto the living room sofa but that is all he tries to jump up on. Elliot is too little to jump onto anything. Her legs are still so small but she does try. But when she does get up in a chair on the front porch, she gets onto the windowsill and walks the length of all the windows. She climbs onto the top of the sofa too and walks along the top. She jumps over everything too. I always tell my daughter that she reminds me of our kitty we used to have in the way she walks on and hops over everything. |
:) I wish we had like buttons!! Thanks for all the cute stories. Nature knew what it was doing when they made Yorkies so darn cute! lol |
1 Attachment(s) Turn my back for 10 minutes and Sunni strikes again!!! lol:eek: It seriously took some work and wiggling for her to get up on the table again!! arghhh! I'm going to change her name to Storm! |

My boys are not climbers, but they have cat like qualities: they paw at each other like kitties.:D:) |
Yes I do have human triplets, a girl and 2 boys lol. They are all grown up now so my poor dogs get the mommy treatment, lol. My daughter hated having bows in her hair and dressing girly, lol So Sunni has no chance of escaping my eager little hands with bows and frills, lol. |
Storm or Lightning---she's so quick!!! She is quite the little character, your girl is...!!! |
If I am sitting in front of the couch on the floor (usually because I am playing with Bella) she will climb into my lap, then up my stomach and finally over my shoulder to get up on the couch. Then she likes to climb up on the arms and back of the couch. I think she is part mountain goat. Scares the life out of me too!! |
Lol Russ..they are quite the little characters. Endless source of entertainment for sure:) |
Sunni sounds just like my passed matese, always into mischief lol. Matese would hop the chairs and get onto the table, I learned fast to keep chairs under the table, soon she learned to grab the chair leg with her teeth and pull it out enough to be able to jump on the chair then the table. When I went to work I took rope and tied all the chairs together so she couldn't pull one out lol, I loved that little mischief maker, she never ceased to amaze me lol. Sunni is a little sweetie, such an innocent face, ya just gotta love these little yorkies lol |
Hahhah I am literally laughing out loud at work hahaha!!!! But that is the funniest thing I have seen!!! We use to be able to sit on the bed and eat if we wanted some privacy..... but now if you are eating a hamburger Cooper wiil snatch it right out of your mouth hahah!!! So now we have to eat where he can't jump to! But he likes getting on the back of sofas, crawling on the end tables, and trying to jump on the bigger dogs back to try and catapult himself up onto the table!!! They are so full of personality and spunk, so there is never a dull moment!!!! |
