I defend you against the tirade the hubby goes on when you've chewed something of value to him and you thank me by lifting your leg to mark the house...in front of ranting hubby..


You bark shrilly at the very threatening soccer ball in the hallway...for EIGHT hours..


I try to sound professional when I am on the phone with the dentist or the eye doctor or the bank or the school and you try to join in the conversation by biting my feet when I don't acknowledge you and your favorite toy monkey...


You hide my favorite sock underneath the TV stand...you're 9 inches tall - I'm not..


You harass the cat to distraction, act like the victim and when I blame him for your misdeeds you thank me for defending you by stealing all of his food when neither of us are looking..


You fart when people tell me how beautiful and well behaved you are..


I could go all day but I'd be interested to know what's 'not cool' about everyone else's pet so I don't feel so bad about my boy..haha!

OMG....hysterical post! Last night, we were at puppy class and its surrounded by glass so other people can look in. Well, Sunni is getting used to all the worship she receives when Her Highness arrives for training. She literally preens as if she KNOWS people are saying aww, so cute, so sweet, so..oh dear...she's taking a doo doo hahaha...right there while her audience is laughing hysterically.:eek: At least it was mentioned how ladylike she was about it, haha. Thank God for my doo doo baggies. My little girl is no delicate flower!!

Her new thing is, she smacks me! She actually swats my hand away with her little paw. The irony is, I have never once even tapped her butt. So she does that on her own.

Her new quest to keep herself busy is to bring toys from downstairs upstairs. She leaves them there, one by one..then forgets where she put all her toys until I say..go up and get your toys. The process reverses itself until her toys are back downstairs.

She doesn't love to cuddle unless she's sleepy. She does love to be close. If I'm on the sofa she comes up, turns around, backs into position so shes laying right beside me facing the same way I am..I wish there were little beepers on her backside so when she was doing that I'd hear, beep beep lol.

I can spend time enjoying brushing her, bathing her, primping her, lol. Especially if we are going out. No matter how I try, she will look like a ragamuffin within 20 minutes. My job..get those bows in straight and facing the same way. Her jobt...get those bows out..or at least mess them up so much that mommy will take them out!

When we have visitors, Bubba pulls out his bed and gives it a good hump. Just to let everyone know who is boss at our house. He never humps anyone or his sister but that bed is particularly charming to him.

Teddy is not only adorable, he is also hilarious, and his mom certainly knows how to tell of his antics...... I couldn't stop laughing. Thanks for sharing !!!!!

Emma it's not cool that you know you have to potty outside but you find a spot when I'm not fast enough to get to the door and you look at me and keep using it.

Not cool that you steal underwear out of the hamper and taking it under the bed.

Not cool that you steal food off our plates when we are actively eating off the plate.

Not cool that you have chewed through 2 pair of $30 Earbuds in 2 days!

LOL...I just love hearing about Teddy's antics - he just cracks me up.

We had a party on Saturday night and one couple was dying to meet the dogs, so I took them into the bedroom and they're gushing over them...then Wylie proceeds to grab his lover dog, hops on board, and humps him at turbo speed. CLASSY.

I love my Molli but it's not cool when she gets excited to see me and has to lick up my nose! What's with that?!
It's not cool when people say how cute she is, she goes up to them all cute and loving, gets right in their face and proceeds to let out a big burp.
It's not cool when she decides to play with her 'friend' in the oven (her reflection) and barks at it non stop for way too long

For Chibi I have stopped taking him to public events or places because it is not cool that as soon as he gets somewhere new (even if it's inside someone's house) he has to take a big poo.

Bella sticks her tongue in my mouth when I'm yawning, too. She also likes to get in my lap while I'm eating and peer over the edge of the plate to see what I'm eating (and to see if she can grab something off the plate). She's very territorial with the cat, so the cat is restricted to high places that Queen Bella can't reach when they are in the same room together.

Bella treats my partner and myself very differently. When I'm around, Bella is always running around, barking, and acting a fool trying to get attention. When I'm not around, my partner says that Bella is a little angel.

I am dying laughing! These are all so funny.

Misty, you are lucky you only have 4 pounds landing on your stomach. My 17 pound girl knocks the wind out of me when she does that. :eek:

This has made my day, lol! I can so relate to several of the things you are saying about Teddy, Presley and Teddy seem to have very simular traits! Presley's new thing is playing in his water bowl, I mean seriously playing in it by trying to get his whole body in it, I think he thinks its his indoor swimming pool! Water all over the floor and he is soaked, this happens 2-3 times a day! So much for his pretty little hair-dos:D

Elliot does this also! I fill the water bowl and two minutes later, I hear it being dragged around the kitchen (that means it needs to be filled <g>). I go out to the kitchen and the entire contents is sitting on the floor where it landed while Elliot took a swim in the bowl.

At least he didn't hump a pastor's leg? LOL

Wiggle- Im not alone lol! Whew I was thinking wow I have never had a pup to do this - EVER, but Presley is like a duck to water, lol. I am constantly cleaning and filling the water bowl, its hysterical!

As for the leg humping... It happened to a friend. Her parents had church ppl over for small group and their furbutt decided to share the "love". LOL

Oh great, thanks for sharing this, I will definately think about this, at home we have tile floor so its just a matter of wiping his water mess up, but we are getting a travel trailer and I do not need water all over the floor in one of those, this would work perfect!

I love my furbutts but it's not cool when you both bark non stop at the leaves blowing in the wind all day.
When we go for walks and they see another dog and proceed to act like I am killing them.
When Sakura never comes back into the house after going potty. Her Majesty waits for me to go get her and carry her back in.
When she feels the need to kill every squeaker and shred every toy I get them.
When Axel goes potty outside then comes back in and goes potty again inside in less than ten minutes.
When he pees on my bed! That's the worst. He refuses to be potty trained.

I could go on and on. :)

I love my little Kimchi, but it's not cool when she...

...whines for attention (whether I'm across the room, or right by her) but refuses to leave her bed to come and actually get attention (she wants me to come to her).
...On that note, I help her up out of bed, only for her to go to the next one nearby and then looks at me expectantly >_>;
...she ducks her head under the blanket when I try to clean her eye-boogers and tucks her face in tighter when I get persistent :p
...When I play up close to her for a bit and she randomly; stick her tongue either in my mouth or nose, or she takes a chomp of my nose.

Teddy, it's not cool when you are so scared of your poop that you don't let it go all the way before running and expect me to chase you around with it hanging from your tail so that you can be saved. In the mean time, everywhere you sit has been 'stamped'.

Oh boy, we have a power humper with Bella. There is one toy on the back porch that is the object of her amore. She goes at it with such vigor that she will sometimes fall over. I, of course, laugh myself silly, but mommy is mortified.
She will also chew mommies shoes and flip flops. She will go over to them, no matter how many times she is told not to. She will go on her potty pads ten times in a row and will then turn around and look you in the eye and pee wherever she happens to be. And I am not sure how it is even physically possible, but if you get within a foot of her, she WILL enthusiastically slip you some tongue. Tiny little critter, lots of personality.

Magnus. I'm more than happy to have you and Zoey sleeping on my bed. Even when you come up and lay next to my head with your BUTT facing towards me. What I don't appreciate is when you FART!!!!! Then you sniff towards my head (where your butt is), give me the stink eye and move.
