I had a dream
Last night a giant owl visited me in my dreams and presented my puppy to me and told me that his name is Rowan James.
I named my daughter after a dream I had and she loves her name. I think I will listen to my dream again and that will be his name.
James was my father's name and he died 12 years ago. The puppies were born 3 days before his birthday would have been. I would not have picked that name because it was my father's name, but when the owl said it the name just sounded right. I tried to put other names with it for a middle name and nothing worked with it.
I have always loved the name Rowan, but thought of it as a girl's name as the character in the book I got it from was a girl. However, my daughter suggested it a few days ago and it was the name of a guy character in her book. I looked it up online it is an old Gaelic boy's name. So, I thought about it and the name has really grown on me for him.
Raksha and Rowen. I think they sound good together! She is still working on a midlde name for Raksha.
I can't wait until they get here. More than a month to go! LOL |
