If your dog was a flower-which one I f your dog was a flower which flower and color would he or she be? Magic - Black Iris - Tall stately gleaming in the sun. Razzle - Dandelion - Bright sunny pops up everywhere :-) Dara - Impatients - loves the sun - comes in many colors/moods and the Lord knows she is impatient! |
I love this:) Little Miss Sunshine would have to be a perennial Daisy:) bright and cheerful, a little survivor. |
Ziva might have to be a rose, beautiful but thorny Abby-violets, pop up quick and cute |
Teddi is my Sunflower :animal36 :aimeeyork ;) :animal-pa :animal-pa :animal-pa |
Anna--rose--high maintenance and beautiful Barney--stink weed--long gangley, beautiful, but loves to roll in smelly stuff Ted--a dandelion--tiny, cute but annoying, and seems to be everywhere |
Sissy would be a purple passion flower because those really stink- she will roll, rub in anything-dead worms are her favorite. She makes me gag. Bubba is a lavender flower because he is so calming and sweet. |
Dinky, annoying, but cheerful and happy! |
Lol corpse flower. That's Toto http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amorphophallus_titanum Haha the scientific name translates to giant misshapen phallus |
They are peppy in the morning so they would be morning glories |
Teasell would be a Old Fashioned carnation. Maybe a pink shade. and all the wonderful spicey scent they have. |
Pippin is a sunflower. Bright, sunny, happy. |
I looked up meanings of flowers to get a view of what Emma could be. spirited is how I would describe her and the flower for that is Freesia. Emma is happy. She's a mini thief and likes to rebel when she finds the confidence. She's a sweetie pie but you can always tell she's smiling. |
Zoey is a cross between a sweet pea and a daisy. She has a sweet and sunny personality. Jackson is a Gardena - pretty but easily bruised. He is very sensitive and his feelings are hurt if scolded. |
I guess Tibbe would be a cactus flower as he's pretty rough and tough much of the time like a cactus, full of attitude, bouncing around, loves to play-fight and play-bite, chase and get chased all over the house and is a full-blown terrierist at heart, giving orders, running your life and thinking he knows better than anyone how it all should go. But this same dog can instantly morph into his sweet, little Yorkie self, all caring little licks and waggling cuddles, soft eyes, flattened ears with a sudden upturned tummy and pawpads showing. That's when he's like a little flower that occasionally blooms above all the bristles and shows what a delight he can be when he wants to. |
This is a fun idea!! Tassel would be a little Snap Dragon she's forever snapping around. She likes to play with the others like this and they tolerate her so well. They know she's a little sister.:) Tova would be a sweet faced Pansy she always has a little surprised look or the look that says it wasn't me!! Tosh would have to be a sweet pea he's such a loving gentle little man loves to give kisses too. Beamer would be a white Daisy he has large eyes and a sweet bright expression always. |
I think lilah would be a phalleonipsis orchid- beautiful and unique, a different challenge but not as hard as they say, just different needs. A little wild but potted, safe by the window and happy in her home. Beautiful and mysterious. |
Fun thread :)! Wylie -- he'd be a peony bc they're bouncy and flouncy and full of life Marcel -- he'd be a full bloom rose that is SO soft you want to cuddle it always Pfeiffer -- she'd be a sunflower bc that encompasses her sunny personality at all times. Arthur -- our little chi would be a flowering Venus Fly Trap bc he LOVES to chase flies |
Cody would be a …Venus Flytrap ..Because any insect that lands near him gets eaten. |
Pippo would be a tirgerrrrrre lily. Tiger because he thinks he's tough and lily because he isn't really, infact he's very shy. |
Hmm I think Lola would be a bouquet A Daisy or a sunflower because she has a happy and sunny disposition A Pansy because she does not blossom in the heat A water Lily since we can not keep her out of the lake or pool and has been know to jump in ponds and fountains if you are not watching carefully. |
Lexie would be a white violet. Symbol of faithfulness, watchfulness, adoration, delicacy, and beauty. And she smells sweet, too :) |
Mickey would be a orchid. He is a lover and needs lots of loving care. |
Thank you so much all for replying. It was a whimsical idea of mine - as I was thinking about spring planting. But once again YT surprised me, you all surprised me, in the obvious multi-faceted connection you have to your loved ones. The ease with which but also the care you took in attributing a flower to your dog tells me so much about you and your relationships with your animals. Happy Easter to all and may your day be special - as you have made mine special :-) |
As always, I am late! But, Teddy would be an Adenium obesum (or desert rose) because he is bright, commands attention and should never come into contact with children and other pets! |
...a dandelion! Because Piper is kinda wild, springs up all over and she's sunny and sweet. Plus, when she sneezes, the hair on her head kinda explodes and then she looks the dandelions when they turn fuzzy & round (& blow away)!!! I laugh out loud every time I see this and every time she looks at me with that head-cocked, quizzical 'what are you laughing at' expression and I just tell her I like the way she fixed her hair...!!! Ohmygosh, I just gotta get a picture. |
