Tomorrow is the big day for Spice I take her in the morning to have the laser spaying done. Please keep her in your thoughts as she will still have to be put under for it. She is 6 mo and 2 weeks old. I cant believe I have only had her since Feb5 , she has become such a huge part of my life and home. My son has supplied her in lots of clothes and all she needs. I have given her lots of love and attention. She was 2.4 and 7 1/2 in long when I got her and she is now 3.9 and almost 10 in long!!! Except for her topknot hair I keep her trimmed fairly short as for me she dont need the long hair and it is so much easier to keep her clean . I will let you know how it went when I pick her up late afternoon.:aimeeyork |
I can feel how much you love your little girl. I know it's difficult to leave Spice there. I will be watching for your update and keeping you both in my thoughts. |
I will be doing the same thing with my little one very soon. She is close to the same size as your little Spice. We all worry over our babies but so many do remarkably well and recuperate quickly. Will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers.:) |

We'll be thinking of her. I'm sure she will be perfect after she's finished, and will expect mommy to spoil her even more. My little girl had to have it done much earlier then I ever would have chosen, but for medical reasons. She was fine, and recovered very quickly. The hard part was getting her to stay calm, but she still wanted to play and run:) I'll check later to see how she's doing. Good luck!!:thumbup::animal-pa |

Everything went wonderful!! She is asleep in her bed now. Her blood work was perfect . I learned today the only difference between laser and regular spaying is the recovery time. She will recover much faster with the laser. Oh that and the cost! LOL I was so happy I never rec'd a phone call all day as that would only be bad news. She was so happy to see me.She woke up the minute I picked her up and laid her head on my shoulder. ♥ She is 4.5 lbs and that is what she should be . The most she will get to is 5 . She had such a growth spurt in the past 2 weeks! Thank you all for keeping her in your T & P today ( HUGS) |
