we tried homemade treats now the big question... I decided to make homemade treats instead of buying I made beef, peanut butter and oat and sweet potato. Sparkle Is going coo coo for cocoa puffs lol she's even trying to do tricks. I've already given her 3 of the beef and she wants more and is refusing no for an answer how any of these can I give her? they're little bone shaped I'll try to post a pic |
This is one of my "do as I say, not as I do" type of thing... LOL I think it's best for you to keep the treats for training, going/coming back from vet/groomers, before bed snack, etc.. Otherwise, she might not want to eat her own food. If you keep giving in, she'll get worse later on. |

Thanks for the advice she looked around my room for more then barked at me for 10 minutes and went to sleep lol. Thanks again |
LOL I've been trying to cut down on their snacks so I'm trying to come up with different ways where they'd have to "work" to get to the treat. I recently bought that "Omega Paw Tricky Treat Ball" after seeing it reviewed on Dexter's Ruff Life. Seems to do the job! Keeps Magnus busy and it takes him some time before he can finish whatever's inside the ball. :D |
