Hair Trim I am growing my baby's coat, she is almost10 months, I took her to the grooming just for clipping her nails because she became unruly most of the time. I cut her hair most of the time, I trim her anal area but I want to know which part should i need to trim except for the anal area? Please adcvised |
If you are growing her out just shave butt and crotch for sanitary purposes, trim excess hair from her pads and shave top third of her ear tips inside and out (not bald just short like velvet). You can trim the fur around her feet a bit just so it doesn't drag on the floor also. |
I know I need to trim the hair around my puppy's feet. But it is so cute and soft. It's like little feathers and feels so soft when he reaches up and pats my face. Plus he has a lot of this wonderful little hair on the bottom of his feet, and this needs to be trimmed also. He plays so much with his feet and paws - and they are so fluffy and soft. Guess I'll just have to do it! Darn! Carol Jean |
don't forget the pads of her feet either... to much hair in this area and they don't get good grip. Some trim the eye area. I like to leave it alone. Only one of my yorkies do I trim the eye area, but she had surgery on her one eye. Also check the ears... If there is excessive hair going out of the ears that really should be plucked out. |
How does this "plucking" work?! Doesn't it HURT?! |

I dont think it is like eyebrow plucking (OUCH). They don't seem to flinch when you pull it. I have some really good tweezers and use those to pluck ears (just that hair that comes up out of the inner ear-holes. |
