L@@k Pet hotels Hi, I thought I would let everyone know that there is a site that covers united states with a list of hotels or motels that welcomes all pets! :D Some will have a small charge (10 -15.00) most of them don't charge at all some even offer doggie sitters should you want to go to dinner etc.. we have always used this service because we use to have to find sitters (family members) to stay if we needed to leave town for weddings, business etc.. Kennels was never an option!!! and your trip is much more enjoyable knowing your babys are with you and safe! this site is great and I think everyone should keep this site in their favorites for all your traveling adventure. It's a great aset to all pet owners.. :D http://petswelcome.com/milkbone/map.html |
That's pretty neat... Thanks for the link :D |
Thanks for the link! I'll add that to my favorites for when I go to visit my boyfriend's family! They aren't too keen on two dogs, much less one. Oh well! haha |
Thank you for the link! I'm bookmarking it now! |
Hi Jbarile, Yes this site is soooo awesome  . It came into use last year when my boyfriend and I travelled to Miami, FL :ip: (southbeach area) and we were of course travelling with Cookie :aimeeyork . We found a hotel on Ocean Drive that allowed pets!!! Very cool. I kept it in my favorites ever since. It also lists pet friendly campsites, ski resorts, beaches, etc. Worth taking a look at.... -RubyC |
Thanks... |
Thank you so much for the site! I'm putting it up in my favorite list right after I post this reply. It's sure would come in handy as I travel a lot these days. I'd prefer bringing Cocoa with me wherever I go, but then soemtimes that's just not an option. Thanks again for sharing the site with us!! :aimeeyork |
Thanks for the info, I am bookmarking it right now! |
Thanks for the link! My family has been talking about taking a little "getaway" vacation! Not sure where we might go. We plan to take our furbabies. |
I just got back from vacation in Lake Havasu in Arizona. We stayed at the Nautical Inn and they didn't allow pets. I wish I would've known that the London Bridge resort welcomed pets. We could've stayed there it was only maybe a three minute drive from where we were staying!! Well at least now I know!! Next time I'll take my babies with me!!! :D |
Thank you so much for sharing. It is a piece of mind, that when you get to your destination--your baby will be welcomed. |
Thanks...we are a Military Family ... We move a good bit....and its always a challenge...Usually Best Western has done well for us with animals... :) I've book marked this! thanks... :D |
Here are a few more. You never know!! Add these: www.petfriendly.com www.petswelcome.com www.petsonthego.com www.dogfriendly.com www.tripswithpets.com I have found some listed on one site and some on another. A lot of them also show attractions/restaurants/points of interests that dogs can go to as well. I love to bring mine, but always feel guilty leaving them in the room to go to dinner, etc. I try to where them out all day so they are a bit tired when I have to leave them behind. |
What about? I am a single lady and will be traveling by myself with my boys, I noted that the original link on this posting specifies one pet per room, does this mean I have to rent another room in order to take both my boys (yorkies) with me? |
I have a dog that competes and a lot of time it's cheaper to share a room. So my friend, her dog (a boxer mix) my dog (a German Shorthair) and I would ALL share a room. No one even minded it. If we can get a way with that, you should be SET with your 2 little ones. Quote:
