For those still struggling with dry coats... This conditioner is fabulous..... light , coconut scent . And hair comes out ultra smooth and soft....no more tangles. Been thru a lot of conditioners for dry fly away hair that matted easily. I love this. My sister groomed dogs for 40 years. Upon retiring she gave me a gallon of this! Needless to say it will last a long time! Amazon |
It sounds nice, but be careful using it all the time, too much protein drys hair out. Here's a link with ingredients PPP AromaCare Conditioner - Coconut Milk - 13.5oz from King Wholesale Pet Supplies |
Ok thanks! I sure have enough other to switch around! |
I'm forever looking for the perfect conditioner, so now I suppose I'll have to try this one too, lol. I hope it works well. Thanks for the tip. :) |

It's even smooth when I run my hand over her and she must feel so much better too! |
Thank you for the tip! We had a terrible case of dry coat here, but a coconut oil treatment and humidifiers have helped a lot. We simply put dishes of water on our floor vents and clean/refill at least once a day. Can't wait for spring!! :) |
We have not had dry coat problems since I stopped using grooming products with sulfate and other chemicals in them. They strop the skin and coat and cause your pet to itch. You have to read the ingredient list on the product carefully because some products do have on or more natural ingredients in them but still have sulfate and other chemicals that will dry out the skin and coat. Using conditioner after stripping the skin won't stop the resulting itching that takes place. I use the Yorkie Splash and Shine products but there are several other good all natural grooming products out there for pets. The conditioner you listed looked nice but I didn't see an ingredient list. |

And ant wait for spring either ...the stores are finally starting to put spring stuff out... |
With two that have cotton coat, I've spent a kings ransom trying to find a conditioner that would help with the matting, even those extremely expensive Italian products, and just did not find anything for dogs that worked on mine. I then turned to human conditioner even though I knew dog hair was not like human hair and would not work the same, but desperate as I was, I found at Sally's, ion Moisture Solutions Deep Nurturing and Hydrating For Extremely Dry Hair. I rarely find knots and tangles now, but I keep the body cut short and longer on the legs. |

Do you have a Sally's card? It's $5 but you get a $5 off $5 coupon for joining, it makes everything in the store a bit cheaper, you get coupons, and when you renew a month early you get a $5 off $5 coupon and a free full sized ion product. |
I've held a Sally's card for 15 years now. Love that store. I buy my own shampoo there as well. |
OH, and I never paid anything for the Sally's card. I re-new every year too. |
