She'll be fine, honey! I'll be thinking about you both! Hang in there, and let us know when she's home and OK! :p |
I'll be thinking about you both . |
It'll be okay! Let us know when she's home...We'll be praying for her :) |
Thank you so much for your thoughts. I will be sure to let everyone know when we come home. Hopefully by 7:00 eastern time. They did tell me this morning they would give her an injection for pain before the surgery and send me home w/some. My poor lil girl. |
I cried with mine too! My cousin even came 200 miles to babysit me. I'd never been through a op with her and I was so traumatized! She was FINE. No problem - a little sleep, lazy a couple of days, and very spoiled. I was a wreck. Hang in there - it's gonna be okay. |
yes hang in there sweetie, i think we all have been there.. it wil be ok.. she will be out of it later on, but tomorrow, she should be back to normal. you will see.., |
you want to know something, i was such a coward that i had my mom take lexi to get spayed, i could not do it, so my mom cried when she dropped her off....im so bad aint i |

Your little Daisy will be fine....I was so nervous for both of my girls but within a week they were back to normal and didn't remember anything!!! Let us know how everything went once she gets home!!! |
well i just got my baby home. she cried once poor thing and now she's just sleeping in her carrier, she doesnt want to come out i dont blame her poor lil girl. thank you for your prayers :) |
I'm glad her surgery went well and you pulled through! Everytime I take Bounce for teeth cleaning, I end up calling the vet at LEAST 3 times that day, if not more. lol I worry over him so much! So don't worry, you're allowed to be that in love with your baby! :) |
Awwww poor little girl. Bella has months to go before spaying and I'm already scared out of my mind to put her through it. :( The vet let us know (we asked all kinds of questions that first visit, lol) that it would be harder on her 'cause she's a female and all that....so that adds to my anxiety a bit. Let us know how your babygirl is doing. :) Only other op I've been through like that was when we got our cat neutered and that was at LEAST 14 years ago....I can't even remember how long it took him to heal after that. :( |
So glad she is home! Quote:

I am so glad she came through the surgery okay....you are such a good mommy. |
So glad to hear she's doing well!!! |
She will feel better every day. I know she is hurting right now, and your heart hurts for her, but every day she will feel a tiny bit better. :p You wait, in a little bit Daisy will be milking the attention she is getting now for all she is worth! Ask Villette, she will tell you what little drama queens our furbabies can be! :yelrotflm Hang in there, dear! :p |
It s such a hard time I worried when i got Alfie done but now I will have to go through it wih Lottie and Iam already staring to worry. I hope your little one will be as right as rain soon. |
Awww...here's hoping she's feeling better soon! Trust your decision, you made the right one:) As others have said, she'll be a little sleepy for the next day or two but then should bouce right back. When I had Katie fixed many years ago, she whined, whimpered, and cried the first couple days, wouldn't jump up on anything nor would she jump down. After the stitches were removed, she still wouldn't jump so I was a "bad" mommy and kinda helped her off the couch with a gentle push. She looked back at me as if to say, "Gee, that didn't hurt a bit!". Gabby on the other hand was unstoppable!! She ran, she jumped, everthing the vet said not to do and it never fazed her. That proved to me they all heal and handle pain differently. Just love your baby and hold her close for a couple days, you'll both be feeling better soon:) |
