breeding problems hello, i'm new here, I'm trying to breed my yorkie male to a female .when he gets on her I don't think he does anything but hunch, as his lil thing doesn't come out n after, what could be wrong? they have been together for about 5 days now thank you!! |
You should have a mentor to help you with these things and if you don't you probably should not be breeding. Breeding is a serious thing you are risking the life of your female and creating new lives. You should only be breeding to better the breed period. You also shoukd know your dogs lines many generations back for some many reasons. Breeding is a really big really serious thing especially since we have millions of dogs being put to sleep every year and many dogs being born with serious genetic issues. |
Hi and welcome to YT. :) Breeding is very, very risky and soooo many things could go wrong - even when they're just trying to mate. I hate to be a downer, but it sounds like you could use a mentor to truly learn about the process and what could go wrong. Personally, I love my little babies SO very much, so much it hurts :p....and I would never, ever breed them bc of the risks and bc of the many bad things we've seen happen here with breeding. Tragedy happens to even the very *best* of breeders. |
