Water Buffalo horn chew TREAT??? I went to my local animal feed to buy wild bird seed, while I was there I looked at dog treats, I see “Water Buffalo Horn” treat. It looks Iike a miniature Rino horn. Has anyone tried these for their babies. If so, any feed back would be appreciated. I would like to keep a variety of chews for my little boy, alternate between chews. |
I have never heard of these....interesting. |
Now that I have been using Pet smart, Pet Supply and other pet food stores there are a lot of things I have never seen lol, I feel like a first time dog owner with all these new things they have. You can google to see what water buffalo horn looks like. I want a variety of chews for my little boy. Reason I am asking if anyone has gotten them, I feel like a novice with all these new treats and chews, what is safe, what is not. iyiyi so much researching for a dog chew / treats lol. |
Don't know about water buffalo horn but we tried antlers and no one touched them. Too heavy, too hard, and no good [stinky] smell, so no interest here. |

Anything very hard is going to potentially crack teeth...most of the time the tooth to fracture in these situations is the 4th premolar which is a very important chewing tooth. It's not worth it. |
