Brrr... Baby It's Cold Outside Mercy, it is cold in Kentucky this morning. It reminds me of that song, "Baby It's Cold Outside." My dogs flew out and flew back to do their business on the grass. We are at -2. What is your local temperature? |
I think its about the same here its like -20 wind chill so My daughters school has closed today and yesterday. My yorkies are just going doing their business and coming back in. I cant really complain much yet though because its been a mild winter so far but I knew eventually we were going to get it. |
Here on the mountain it's -2, wind chill -15 / -20, my boy flew out this morning and flew back in lol, too cold. |
Windchill is -8 right niw in SE MI. So over winter. Puppies are snuggled up napping. |
-4 with wind chill of -21 here in Wisconsin. They don't cancel school here unless the wind chill is -35 or just have a 2-3 hour delay. Crazy concept for me being from South Carolina. In SC we would freak out if the temps got into the teens, lol. |
It's 16 wind chill of 9 out now here in my area of Texas. Girl's ran out fast did their potty and back in fast. |
Gosh, it's downright balmy here in Sparks, NV at @20 degrees. Piper is already pushing for a walk, but I absolutely insist we wait until sunrise at least!! I swear, this little girl would wear high heels if it meant going for a walk (read: terrier trot). Temp is 0, windchill is -20. The doggies are all snuggled up in their beds. |

Oh my goodness! I thought I was in a deep freeze. Here in Kansas it was 5 dgs when I got up. My little Izzie trotted right out and I had to call her back in afterwards. She loves it outside. If it was -20, I think I would just lay out a pad near the door. I don't know how you do it, those of you in Arctic weather! |
It was 7 degrees this morning at 8, when we went over to my son's to lend him my husband's car. My DIL tried to start her's this morning to go to work and her battery was dead so she took my son's car at 5. So, he needed a car to get to work and I followed my DH over to bring him home. I'm not getting out of my pj's today because I'm not going out again! Ps these crazy dogs still want their coats on and to be let outside. |
12 degree's here. I actually left Dutch in her pjs this morning when I left for work. :p |
How nice to stay in pj's! Even though we're not experiencing single digit or minus degrees, Piper is quite happy to remain in her sweater after we return from outings! |
Magnus was happy to go outside and do his business and roam a bit while Zoey... She stuck her nose out, backed away sloooooowly while looking at me. Went to her fav spot during winter which is the vent on the floor. I had to laugh b/c I felt like she was thinking if she moved slow enough, I wouldn't notice. LOL |
Like if she could have, she would have whistled nonchalantly as she slowly backed away from cold...! Too funny and adorable!! |
Right now, it's 0 degrees with wind chill of -9 here in Upstate NY. Bentley and my boxer, Baxter go out in their coats, do their business and we come right back inside. The sun is shining bright and it seems to make a bit of a difference compared to yesterday. |

One of my favorite things to do is hug/snuggle Zoey when I just came in from the cold. She's usually on the heating vent so when I get a hold of her, she's extra warm. LOL |
Yup it is COLD outside. It was 3 degrees when I got up this morning. The Diva SSSuperdogs don't put their itty bitty paws out in the bitter cold. They have ex pen in the garage with potty pads. So "going out" consists of their pen in the garage!!! ( actually they only are out there to do their business and are ready to come back in)..... Those lil noses get cold enough in the garage!!! :cold smil:cold smil:cold smil |
Lexi HATES the cold, but she has been going out to potty in it even with -30 wind chills. She is super fast and comes in shivering, but it gets done. My Shih Tzu acts like it isn't even cold, he takes his sweet time out there! |
0 wind chill, 15 air temp. Thank goodness for pee-pads. |
LOL, it was 52 in the CO mountains this morning! :p Of course that won't last, but Lexie will go out in any temp. Go figure :D |
Been -20 to -25 degrees wind chill here and Amy runs out and squats and runs back in and I had better be out of her way. I thinks she holds it as long as she can and then wants to go out and can't say that I blame her one it. |
Wow, looks like everyone had cold temps yesterday. It is actually 20 degrees this morning in Kentucky. Feels like a heat wave. Heard it is going to be back down to zero tomorrow (Saturday). I bet some western states are already getting the artic freeze. |
It got up to 37 today and we actually took a walk around the school track (designated on weekends as a doggy walk). Daisy was so excited and full of energy that she RAN around the whole track. Just as we finished our walk and got in the car it started raining. We sure did need that walk and timed it perfectly. I don't know when we will be able to walk again. |
5:30AM temp was 7 degrees, heat wave this afternoon 19. Cody goes out and flies back in, to cold for sniffing out the bunny that's been in backyard. |
