Anybody else have a yorkie that loves water? I just can't keep Peanut out of it. He's happiest when it's pouring rain. I would prefer he would use his wee wee pads when it's raining, but he'll have none of that. He wants to go outside and then he plays. It's cold,raining and 10:00 PM and he's been out 3 times. How can I be mad when he is just soooooooooooo happy!

Your boy is darling, such a cute photo, I just love the parti yorkie. My Lola does not mind the rain or the snow, and she loves to swim, she will jump in a pool or the lake where we live if given the chance. While I enjoy the fact she likes to swim, it also makes ne nervous so I keep her tethered when on our boat because I am afraid she will jump off. When we walk in the summer we pass a little beach area, she loves to stop there for a swim. The lake is almost frozen solid but when we walk by there now she still keeps pulling to go to her swimming spot :D

Since she loves the water and will fetch till the cows came home we got her into dock diving, (see attached photo) she will never win since most of the dogs are much bigger but we have fun with it. Several other members have swimming dogs on YT.

But LOL go figure she hates getting a bath:p

Adorable! :) My boys love running around in the rain too. Teddy is afraid of storms when he is in the house, but doesn't mind going outside. How weird is that?! :D

LOL Still raining here this morning and we have been out several times. At least I know I'm not the only one who has a crazy little water loving furbutt.:)

She is really flying out there. You can tell she loves this. :)

He looks like he is saying "What's the big deal? It's only a little water." Wish we could get out for a walk. We usually walk in the park everyday but it's been raining for a week. There is standing water everywhere. Peanut really misses his walk

Tibbe doesn't like to go through the pouring rain off the house in sheets but once he's out there, he could care less that he gets drenched and will stay out there in the coldest, bluster-iest weather. And if it's just raining, not pouring, he runs right out into it just like any other day, though he usually doesn't ask to go outside as often on rainy days and sleeps in when it rains, putting off waking and getting up as long as possible. He loves to take his bath, too. So I guess my Tibbe loves water, too.

Teddy loves going outside no matter what the weather is..although, he does appear to hate wind. But, hey, if I were 4lbs, I'd probably be intimidated by windy days, too! Wouldn't want to be blown away!

I just LOVE seeing our little yorkies dock diving, they are so fearless, this is a beautiful action photo.

Gina loves the water, lake, rain, shower, but not the sink for her bath, she lovers to take a shower instead. I keep a towel at the back door so I can dry her off when we get back inside. Gina also loves the hair dryer, she will charge it then go running on the couch and charge again and again. We have a baby gate up going to our bath room, litter box is in there, every time I go in to take a shower Gina lays down at the gate with her nose sticking through the gate and growls wanting to join me. My mom lives on a lake and Gina loves to ride on a float or swim with her vest on, has a grand old time.

My Yorkie is just 4 months old and loves to join us in the bath. At first I thought she didn't know she would be all wet so I told me daughter: let her jump and she will see that she might not like it at all. Well, every time someone is in the shower/ bath she wants to jump in . She is just too silly.
