As for costume jewlery, I learned a long time ago to always google first, 99% of costume jewlery comes from alibaba.
My cousin saw an alice in wonderland pocket watch she wanted, it was $65 at a craft booth and $10 on etsy.

I'm honestly disgusted with the craft world right now, most things people are selling were made in China and they may embellish it a little. My grandmom used to sell ceramics, fabric dolls, and doll dresses. That was real work and skill. I also know how to do many crafts, so
I usually know the work involved in the things people make.
I totally agree with you about this. In school, when I studied fashion, our instructors stressed that we needed to truly learn our craft. Not just come up with these ridiculous designs in our heads and tell other people to make it happen. When I create something, I do it from the ground up. I draft my own patterns. I don't buy a premade pattern from Joanns. Those fits are horrible anyway.

Wow... this women is a piece of work !


Seems I am reading more and more shocking details of her business practices that are so unbecoming of any designer or anyone who claims to be. It is so very sad how this person cheats paying customers or fools them into thinking that her merchandise is superior and charges them outrageous prices when it seems as if it is nothing more than junk. I wonder if anyone has successfully taken your to court and received their money back for the poor quality merchandise or for not even receiving what was to be delivered to them.


. . . and Go ! (I am sure you can find this information some how)

I hope that's a joke. I would not trust him in my home or with any of my money. Anyone who would steal coral from a sanctuary??? What kind of person does that?

There are other convictions according to a report I was given, but I cannot find a lot about the charges/dispositions.

I agree with you on this one. His crime is right up there with killing or capturing and selling a killer whale or manatee. Stealing mass quantities of living coral is WAY worse than clear cutting a National Park such as Yellowstone(as an example). The trees would at least grow back to near normal after 50 years, the coral, not so much.

Sorry.....regardless of the crime he is slimy for what he did. There is a reason that the Feds got involved because he was profiting from theft. I have a pretty big problem with the idea that this guy took a boat into protected water, dove down and collected federally protected coral and sold it for a profit for himself.
To me, his criminal past that involves illegally profiting for coral theft indicates he will do anything for money. It's a very good justification to be alarmed! Now he's part of a business that collected $2,000 from a grieving mother! Sorry but IMO it's a direct correlation to his sliminess! :thumbdown

I feel the same way. Way too many things that make me feel this way...top of the list is the Korean puppy mill link and second is the coral theft. This woman was selling teacup yorkies and said herself that they were from Korea. :( :( She also claimed to be an exclusive representative. Her "friends' say that was some time ago...uh no, actually she was selling two of them this past July.

Isn\'t that the same thing as a Broker, in my opinion she is just as guilty and discussing as a mill breeders themselves.
