Pup-pee-poo Palace Does anyone have any experience with these? Do you like them? We are currently trying to teach him to go outside, but it is getting colder out and even we don't want to go outside. Any thoughts? |
I don't have this, but I do use rewashable pee pads...have you considered those? |
I did not know there were reusable ones. I'll have to check them out. The palace is this whole cage contraption. |
Pup Pee Poo Palace What I have used for 4 years with my little guy is a U GO DOG potty container. It is a large plastic container where you can put newspaper or whatever in it and then there are two grids with holes you put on top where the pee goes down into the container and the poo is on top where you just pick it up and throw it in the toilet. I clean it every other day and put in fresh paper. It is only about 1 1/2 inches tall and 25"by18" dimensions. It is called U GO DOG if you would be interested in seeing it online. |
Ok thx |
I don't know what the palace thing is but we trained Gracie to puppy pads that were in a lock down frame so she couldn't play with or move the pads around. She trained very quickly to them and they are a lifesaver when the weather is bad or you have to be away from home for a few hours. They used to sell the frames at Walmart. Ours no longer has them but I know Amazon has them. |
I looked it up on google, there was a video , it looks really neat. I never created any of my pups but they were kept in a limited space, 100 % paper trained at 5 months old, 100 % house broken by 7 months old. I hope you find someone that has used the Pup-pee-poo Palace that can answer your question. If I had a puppy I would give it a shot. Good luck. |

Galen is both indoor potty pad and outdoor potty trained. . . |
Oh wow, that's great! How hard was it to train indoor and it? How did u go about doing that? |
I am also interested in indoor and outdoor training. I am hoping to have the puppies pee pad trained and also be willing to go outside. When it is pouring down rain or very cold out I would rather just take the older dogs out and be done with outdoors. I have to go out because the big dog is not going on pee pads, he pee's a few cups at a time when he goes. Teek is outdoor trained so I will just leave him unless he starts using the pee pads on his own or something. I want the puppies to not need to go out when the weather is bad like the other dogs do. But I do want them to go outside too. Any advice is welcome. The puppies will be indoors only for the first month I have them so they can get their vaccinations. |
I use the puppy patch for indoors but Bonnie is trained to go outside as well. She only uses the puppy patch if I'm not home or the weather is bad. |
