Charile had a nightmare last night. :( In the middle of the night. We were all sleeping when all of a sudden Charlie yelled out this whale of a cry. I got up and picked him up and put him under hte blankets with me and normally he would have got up and ran back to his spot, but he stayed right there and slept with me. I wonder what he was dreaming about. I can't believe some people think that dogs don't have emotions like we do..... |
Oh that's a shame , he must have got a little night fright or something. |
Uni has dreams and nightmares too but nothing as bad as what you described. She usually just whimpers and shakes. |
Poor Charlie. :( Teddy did this once when he was a pup and it was so sad. Now he only has good dreams where he smiles and runs. Wishing Charlie sweet dreams. |
Poor little Charlie, good that you took him with you to bed. Cody has them sometimes during the day. I stroke his body not wanting to wake him to reassure him mamma is here to protect him. He stops when I do this and lets out a big sigh. To bad we can't get inside their heads to find out what these dreams are. |
They definitely do have emotions and feelings.... And dreams!! Who can't say a dog doesn't dream when you find them "running" or "digging".... Or mine even make sounds, all kinds of sounds... Simple wimpers or growls... Their little brains are just like ours, going a million miles per hour... I would just love to know their thoughts, much less their dreams!! |
