Is there a tablet multivitamin that can be used like BalanceIt?
 
Was just wondering if there is anything that works like BalanceIt for home cooked food but is in tablet form not powder?

Not that I know of. The items that you see over the counter are not appropriate for home cooking. The other option is the new one from pet grocer that is used w/ Dr Remillard's diets at www.petdiets.com

Is there a difference between the Petdiets recipes and the BalanceIt recipes? I just made an account and when I picked "moderate calorie" it only gave me the option for dark meat chicken, but does she make substitutes if I would want to use chicken breast instead? Also, what does "vegetable mix" mean, is that just a mix of what she chooses?

I get recipes from petdiet.com. One of the benefits of it is Dr Remillard. She is great to help and answer questions. Not sure who Balance it uses. The new recipes use Chefs Canine Complete for a supplement but it's not in tablet form.

Not sure about the dark meat. I only use breast for my girls. I use green beans for the veggie mix because Rosie won't eat anything except green beams.

Veggie mix is defined in each recipe. Usually it's a combo of things. If you want all kinds of options you need a consult not a $25 diet, you should just click on the meat you want or email her and ask which one might work for Chloe. I have chicken dark meat and peas for winston. It's higher in protein and fat and chloe seems sensitive.

I just realized I was clicking the wrong thing that's why it said dark meat chicken only. I know I want chicken breast but I'm deciding between brown rice, white potato or peas.

What do you guys think about the Chefs Canine Complete?

I just emailed Dr Remillard about a recipe for Chloe so she can help me decide between the ingredients. BalanceIt is good but I might try the Chefs Canine Complete if you guys are having a good experience with it.

No problems with it here. My girls have a chicken and sweet potato recipe. They love it!

My girls actually prefer the Canine Complete to the balance it formula. No issues here at all with it. And it's a bit less expensive. Even with the raw wheat germ that is also called for in some or all of the recipes.

No, he's five years old, but had a horrible time of it June through August. He almost died from Tracheal Collapse and then due to that Larynx Collapse. 2 surgeries, and $6500.00 later they can't tell me how long he will have, because the Treacheal part in the chest and his Brochial Tubes are still Collapsing. Just hope I have him for another five. I fell cheated somehow, because it gives me less time with him.

I'm so sorry to hear that! Thank god he has you. Our member here LadyJane had George who lived to be like 15++ and he had a thoracic/chest tracheal collapse that was profound. He did really well on temiril P. He lived a good life despite the CT so maybe your boy will too. i hope he enjoys his new home cooked meals!
