If you buy a yorkie from an out of state breeder Since it seems like I might be looking in other states, I see some of the recommended breeders here send them via plane - what is the coldest temp you would feel comfortable sending them ? Or in other words, safest parameters? |

Be careful who you buy from. |
Thanks, yes I have reached out to several people...I have received much good advice here:-) |
Never ship a puppy or adult Yorkie cargo. If you contact a breeder that suggests that then run away. I hope you have been able to find some reputable breeders to get advise from. |
Thanks yes, I guess I'm still learning here and when the reputable breeders listed here - say transport avail, I misunderstood :-) I got it now, thanks! |
Personally, I would never fly a dog in cargo in the United States. No Stateside carrier has a strong enough history of successfully transporting animals...there have been way to many injuries and deaths IMO. I would fly out to get my puppy and fly back with it, if I were buying out of State. If i absolutely could not fly myself, i would hire a courier to fly with my pup. I drove three hours to get ZoE and another three to bring her home. |
