Toby the (sweet) Tyrant
My big baby teapot has finally decided to claim me on his taxes (so to speak) he has finally come around and now prefers not only human touch, but MY touch. He will get sleepy and come nestle up to me or if Izzy isn't occupying my lap he will curl up best he can and snore away peacefully there. He's already 10 lbs and barely 5 1/2 months I believe. He's just huge. And he is a lot calmer now too. Him and izzy are still spazzes with each other, but he has finally learned how to just chill out on the couch with me. And when I pick him up he no longer runs in the air trying to get away. He actually relaxes and rests up against me while I carry him. So I don't feel so ugly anymore. He likes me without being coached into it. He is frigging adorable. His hair is growing out from that stupid schnauzer cut that they gave him before, so he's just cute as a button now. He even handles being kenneled better than Izzy now. She does this high pitched tiny constant whine the entire time she's kenneled, while Toby just curls up on the windowsill Boardwalk that leads from their kennel to the doggie door and crashes out quietly. And Chunk Master Flash , our super grumpy longhair tabby doesn't hate him so much anymore. He still whops him but now he keeps his claws retracted when he does it and doesn't get all tensed up about it anymore. That's my Sumo Update... As you were...:animal37 |
