Chinese TV interview on dogs - Rigair ????? Fairchild TV For those of you who do speak Chinese you will likely understand all that is said - how-ever there are English parts to the interview and Ilona R is on showing Yorkies and agility and in the dog park too :-) She comes on somewhere 3 minutes into the TV show and also in the middle with the agility and in her home with some puppies. Enjoy! And if someone can translate to English especially what is being said in Ilonas' trophy room I would love to understand what is said. |
I loved seeing that video clip. Ilona is an amazing trainer and such an honorable, compassionate human being. I owe my deepest gratitude to her for entrusting her beloved Katie with me and also to you and Jackie who greatly helped to bring her into our lives. If not for you three wonderful women, John and I would not have the joy and love that our special little girl brings to our lives. Lola looks wonderful. I can see how much of his mom's determination, personality, and drive that Razzle inherited. My Katie has everything I'd want in the temperament of a Yorkie. She is inquisitive, loving, intelligent, brave, and so full of life, yet with Ilona's expertise, she is so beautifully trained. She is such a happy girl, and I know it's also largely because of the loving care that Ilona gave her the first three years of her life. |
Bumpedy Bump. No Chinese speaking folks on YT? BTW there are some English segments to the TV show, and it is fun to watch the dogs at play. |
I watched it earlier today and loved seeing all the sweet dogs romping and playing, especially all the Yorkies and wow, all the ribbons, etc.(!) and really enjoyed seeing Ilona putting her babies through their paces. My speakers would barely pick up her audio and I really couldn't hear a word she said but still enjoyed it because it was dog oriented. I'm going to try later to watch it again and try fiddling with my speakers to see if I can hear her. I can remember back in the day when China banned dog individual ownership in cities, etc., with rare exceptions. Obviously that's changed. Wish I could understand Chinese! |
Jeanie, that is just how it is at Ilonas home. I really would like translated what was said in trophy room, Ilona never talks about her accomplishments so much. I know the picture of the border collie is Una, I believe she took a fourth in the World Agility competitions. Ilona was on world teams for agility for many years over in Europe. \Lola (Razzles Mom) is the dog doing the long beg... Look at that back strength! |
Lola is an amazing dog. She reminded me of Katie when she was looking up at Ilona--not so much the looks but the way she was wagging her tail and the happy look on her face. Ten is not old for a Yorkie, but still I am so impressed with how Lola looks. She looks like a puppy to me. It's obvious they share a special bond. |
I love to see a dog who is happy when they are working, going through their paces, performing their commands, as Ilona's dogs are in the videos. That tells you they are trained with love and never intimidated, over-worked during training! |
