What a little doll! My Jada has the dark strip on her head but she was two when we adopted her , so I have no idea what her puppy coloring was. Attachment 402775 Jada is really dark almost black on her body. Her head and legs are more of a golden brown color

Jada is beautiful, I LOVE her coloring.

Her face is a lot darker than my dog's was at her age. It's hard to say if she'll go all blond/gold or will have nontraditional coloring, what did her parents look like?


The first picture is Lola at 8 months and the second is her at 16 months. She's 20 months now and her face is pale blond with a little gold mixed in, the only black hair left is the back of her ears (that's the last place to go).
I kinda wish she had kept the dark streak down the center of her topknot.

Perfect name Lovie is lovely! My Sophie started out more black but she is now a year old and her back is black and silver her face is red, the top of her head is a light cream and she has the black streak between her eyes. I need to update her pic as she looks nothing like it any longer.

She is absolutely the normal colors of a pup her age. Yorkies change so much more than other breeds as time goes by. The dark strip up the center is called a thumbprint. Most times that will disappear. I am pretty sure that her's will disappear going by her coloring and texture. Sometimes, with the really dark, softer coated Yorkies, the thumbprint stays. She's very cute btw. :)
