I think it is so sad when these pups have no one to call their own! It's so heart warming to see some of them after they've been with their new family for a week or so. Seeing them shine through all of their past experiences and finally having that sense of belonging. I'm sure Cody has told you all about it and I know you have reassured him that he will be forever loved!
| What a beautiful lady you have to be, taking lil Lola in knowing she was pregnant, don't know how many ppl would have done that. Lola was a lucky lil girl that you came along when you did and took her home, helped her give birth and now has a safe loving home. My Cody didn't come from a tragedy back ground like your little Lola did, poor sweet little girl, happy belated Gotcha Day to you and lil Lola. | I was blessed the day I took Cody home,he was unplanned,a surprise to myself, after having to put down my beautiful lil 17 y/o girl I swore no more dogs, loosing them is just to painful. I was not planning on another furbutt, but so grateful I took him home with me. Yes, Cody is in his furever home, very much loved. Quote:

| Yes a very happy Gotcha Day, thank you. Today we spent the entire afternoon in the back yard, Cody guarding the big rock he swears a critter is hiding under lol, silly thing that he is, and me clearing the leaves for my boy, I swear his color blends in with the fall color of the leaves, I look for him, and can't see him, I call his name then see 2 black dots (his eyes lol), that's my boy. Tomorrow my BFF and Cody's Godfather who Cody adores will be spending time together, he will be lavished with many hugs and kisses from his Godfather. |
