Meet Ms. Polly

Meet our new rescue Ms. Polly.
We rescued her last Tuesday. Seems the male she was running the streets with was hit and killed by a car. She got muffler burns down her back, which we are continuing to treat, but are looking really good. She is heartworm positive, which we will begin treating after her big girl surgery Thursday. She had a bad hair cut, so I cleaned her up the best I could. We will let her grow out once the hair on her back comes back. She is such a sweet loving girl. She wants to be held and scratched and loved. She has learned our morning routine and has settled in with Piper Girl and Piccolo really well. She is such a wonderful addition to our family.

She is adorable and you are her guardian angel. Good luck with her big girl surgery and tx for heartworms. Does the vet have any idea how old she is?

I am so happy for you and especially for Ms Polly. She could not have asked for a better more caring family to be a part of, and wow, she is already playing dress-up. Did she sneak into Piper's closet or did grandma come up with her own starter wardrobe?

lil Miss Polly is a lucky lil gal to have a new home with a wonderful mom,dad, new sister and brother. She has been reborn, now the life she should have had will start with her new family. She is a little cutie. Thank you for having a big open heart and saving this little girl. Bless you. Please keep us up-dated on her progress with her new family.

She got into Piper Girls closet. Piper said she does not mind sharing.

I have a question, by big girl surgery do you mean she is being spayed? I am not vet so I don't know how all this works, but I am surprised they would do that before treating the heartworm

Yes, she will be Spade on Thursday.

Am very happy to see you take her into your family. She is a cutie and just can't imagine her running the streets without someone looking for her. She is a great addition to your family.
