New here and need some help (:
 

Hey everyone I'm new here on yt I have seen alot of people's post and it has helped alot but I have a little problem my yorkie Allie is only 4 months old shes very smart but only 2 lbs the only problem is she will go pee on my bed she won't warn me and she can't jump off so I need help on trying to fix her, she's completely potty trained on potty pads but she will always go on my bed if I let her sleep on it.

With her being so young I highly suggest crate training. Don't let her sleep with you right now. She's still a baby and when she has to go and can't jump down, she has no choice but to potty on your bed. They really can't hold their bladder for long at this age. Get a crate with a blanket, toys, and let her sleep in it. If she has to potty she will let you know. Take her out and put her on the pee pad. I know how tempting it is to want to snuggle with your baby, but this is the best way to avoid those accidents on your bed in my opinion! Good luck :)

Huh I will definitely have to try it... she sleeps in her dog bed nenext to my bed but I would just love for her to sleep with me lol hopefully when she gets bigger she will warn me.

I have a snoozer scalloped dog ramp for my bed, so my dog can get on and off as she pleases. IMO it's the best option out there for very small dogs, she was maybe 3lbs when I got them (7lbs now) and used them without a problem.

I have a pee pad in my room for her, she used it regularly as a baby but now she usually waits until we go downstairs. She also used to need a nightlight to find the pee pad.

If you do this, just make sure there's nothing she can get into while you're asleep.

The first two weeks winnie was home she slept in her crate in our room. She had an accident in her crate the very first night and that was that. She would hear me get up and start telling me immediately she had to go....I would open her door and she would bolt out and go straight to the back door. Since shes been sleeping in our bed (12 weeks old) she has Had a few accidents....one pee two poops. The poops I should have known better....she was sick when those happened. But the pee I think she just didn't get taken out that night right before bed because I was sick and fell asleep really early. She's still really young and it isn't expected of them to be able to hold their bladder that long....but some can and do. I feed winnie her dinner at 7 pm and she has access to water whenever she wants....I don't believe in restrictions water. If they are thirsty they should be able to drink. Just be sure to take her out a couple times before bed. As close to immediately before bed as you can. I am up at 630 every day during the week so the first thing I do is take her out to go potty. If I delay.....you better believe there's gonna be a puddle!!! Just be patient and consistent....I hope this helps!!!

I'd get some pet stairs and teach her how to get up/down so she can use a pad. If not pad trained, then you need to keep her in an xpen or Iris pen at night.

I will definitely have to try the stairs usually if she goes to the bathroom before we go to bed she will sleep with me and I would let her down at 5 in the morning and she wouldn't have an accident but I'm not always up that early lol.
